Step inside Harry Caray's landmark building, once owned by infamous Chicago mobster Frank Nitti, and travel back in time for dinner and a show based on the real-life murder of Eddie O'Hare.
This irreverent comedy features an ensemble cast of characters, many of whom walked the very halls of 33 W. Kinzie back when Nitti called it home. "Easy Eddie" O'Hare -- Al Capone's lawyer and father of war hero Butch O'Hare for whom the airport is named. The crime was never solved, but suspects included Frank Nitti, his wife Annette, Al Capone and several others. Can you crack the case? The interactive show is filled with historical anecdotes, laughs, audience interaction and toe-tapping musical productions. |

One of the best times ever! We had a preteen, a teenager, 2 adults and 3 seniors and we all had a blast! We were so impressed by everyone there. Great singing and wonderful audience participation in an intimate setting. Food was excellent. I had 6 of the "actors" come up to me to compliment me after I was selected to go onstage. There was such attention to detail and everyone went out of their way to make us all feel welcome. I'd highly encourage anyone to go. You will not be sorry you did!

I loved the actors (gangsters & flappers) and the guy at the door holding a Tommy Gun checking passwords. The food was delicious and it was a fun show. VERY audience interactive. The actors and actresses also were the waiters and waitresses all dressed up. So cute!

THE PLACE: 33 WEST KINZIE
Long before 33 W. Kinzie housed one of Chicago’s most famous steakhouses, it was home to the notorious enforcer of the Al Capone gang, Frank Nitti. He lived in an apartment on the fourth floor with his wife Annette. They operated a legitimate Italian food business, Caravetta Foods, out of the building. But it was also a convenient hideout for Nitti as the courthouse building was clearly visible from the apartment. The building connected to Chicago's underground tunnel system allowing Nitti and his associates to come and go without being seen on the streets.
Nitti's Supper Club tells a story of real characters from Nitti's life of crime who would have walked through the doors of 33 West Kinzie. Join them on a trip back in time to the raucous world of gangland Chicago. |
